Okeechobee Main Street Our vision is to help create a successful downtown & enrich our community through celebrating the art

Okeechobee Main Street is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the revitalization of Okeechobee, FL. Formed in 1998, Okeechobee Main Street was an associate member of the Florida Main Street Program and became an accredited Florida Main Street with the National Trust for Historic Preservation in 2004.

South Park Street
Park Street has always been the center of downtown as each of the buildings in several blocks have been there since 1915 or so. The businesses may change, but the buildings still stand.

O.O. Davis Building
The O.O. Davis building was a furniture store but upstairs it served as the first Okeechobee County Courthouse in 1917. O. O. "Buckshot" Davis was the owner of this new two-story structure on the corner of South Park and Miami (SW 3rd Avenue).
