We have plumbing! Yep, we're all civilized-like now. We spent the day today prepping the floor for the concrete which, we hope, will be poured tomorrow if the crazy Alabama weather allows. Electrical hookups will follow very soon.

We had a staff meeting today (all two of us) and talked about our game plan for the first show. It's going to happen SOON. So spread the word and stay tuned. Things are about to get exciting in Ohatchee!

It's been a long time coming but we're finally making it happen. The Rick Montana Music Park is currently under construction. The original idea was to establish a music and entertainment venue in an existing building somewhere in the area. We looked at several locations in Anniston, Oxford and Jacksonville but for one reason or another- mostly due to the cities making new business all but impossible and building owners pricing themselves out of the market, we could never strike a deal. So Mr. Montana, entrepreneur, movie star, film maker, TV personality and entertainer, decided to do what he does best- go his own way! Investing money, time, and good old fashioned hard work, the new Rick Montana Music Park began construction early this year on his own property in scenic Ohatchee, Alabama.

The huge campground/entertainment complex will soon host assorted events and attractions. But the centerpiece is a music hall that will feature top-notch local bands and other entertainment from all over the USA.

There is still a lot of work to be done, but if everything goes according to plan, a big grand opening show will kick things off later this year. Stay tuned for details, spread the word and get ready to party!
