Incredibly honored to learn that my painting “Unending Love” has been accepted into the Fabriano Watercolor exhibition in Italy this spring. “Unending love” was painted as a tribute to Amos and it feels different to have such a personal painting included in this show.

Thank you so much to our country leader for all your efforts and organization

I don’t often share the meanings behind my paintings. I like to give clues in my titles but I also want you to have your own experience with the work.

In 2025 I painted Fields of Plenty, at the time I felt the poetry of this moment reminded me of hard times in my life where even when things were rough, I still got by with what I needed. Given the support and love my husband and I have received recently, today this feels more true than ever.

Thank you so much to William A Schneider for this award, and for seeing my painting.

I’m uncomfortable being open about my personal life in this way, what I share that’s personal is through my paintings. At the time I posted about our loss of Amos I didn’t know if what I was doing was right, but I had an overwhelming feeling that the world needed to know he was here, because he was. And he was so perfect.

We have received so much love and support, it is overwhelming. So many people have reached out and shared their stories with me, and it truly makes me feel like there is hope.

Thank you to all of you for your kindness and love sent our way. If there is a blessing in all of this, it’s knowing that there is sincerely still so much love and kindness in the world.

Thank you all

Dear Amos,

We found out about you on October 10th 2025, the best day of our lives. After years of thinking it wasn’t possible for me to get pregnant, I had just about given up hope that we could have a baby. You were our miracle.

we grew to love you more and more everyday. I talked to you, wrote letters to you and we dreamed about what our life would be like when you would finally arrive in June.

After weeks of complications starting at 13 weeks, I went into labor yesterday and you were born pre-term. You were so perfect. Our hearts are shattered that you are no longer with us. We love you.

Things have been a lot slower around here lately due to some personal health issues. This has only reinforced the gratitude I feel for the people around me, the collectors, and the couples I work with. Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and outpouring of kindness. I look forward to getting back on my feet soon and finishing your works 🤍 myra.event.painting
