Today we welcomed the final group of travelers from American Cruise Lines' Great Lakes & Thousand Islands voyage until September.

For many of these visitors, the Frederic Re*****on Art Museum was their introduction not only to the City of Ogdensburg, NY, but to the St. Lawrence River Valley and the Thousand Islands region as a whole. They stepped off the ship, boarded a shuttle, and came directly to our doors before continuing their journey through one of the most beautiful and historic regions in North America.

This is why museums matter.

The Frederic Re*****on Art Museum is more than a place to view art. It is a destination that helps attract visitors to Northern New York, strengthens regional tourism, and showcases the rich history, culture, and natural beauty of the St. Lawrence River.

Only 2 tickets remain for Art of Dining: The Re*****on Rough Riders Sporting Clay Shoot this Saturday, June 13th. Those of a sporting disposition are invited to test their aim in a lively clay shoot before enjoying an outdoor supper among friends.
