THE shop for the fiber artist. We are a retail shop that carries quality supplies for all types of needlework.

We have been in business since 1973 and have amassed a vast array of threads, yarns, tools and fabrics--not only common items, but some unique and hard to find things. We are a knitting shop as well as a needlepoint shop.

We're well stocked on Vineyard Merino thread! This 100% Merino wool thread has a smooth, tightly twisted feel, similar to pearl cotton but with all the softness of wool. It's great for 13 to 18 mesh canvas and comes in colors dyed to match Vineyard Silk, so it's an easy pairing if you're already using their silk line. Come feel it for yourself!

We love celebrating our customers' finished work! Jon just sent us photos of his newest piece, his biggest yet, three years in the making (with some breaks along the way). It's from Secret of Evermore, a cult classic video game, and captures a moment fans of the game will recognize from the box art. It’s a total statement piece. So proud to have customers who stick with a project for years and end up with something this striking. Way to go, Jon!
