Escape' Design FX Escape Design FX is a special effects and creature design studio with 20 yrs experience in film, TV, Escape’ Design FX Studios was founded in 1996.

In the beginning our focus was on costuming, but since 2003 EDS has expanded our focus to special effects, props, and makeup. Though we have earned numerous third parting contracts on some huge Hollywood productions, we have always considered independent film as our mainstay.

EDS expanded its view in 2007 creating an independent production company called Ritual Pictures, and in 2011 Kerr Clan Films, a stop motion animation house. Keeping our roots in the indie world is extremely important to us. As indie filmmakers ourselves, we know the struggles of creating something spectacular on a limited budget. We take pride in catering to those independent films' budgets.
