April's School of Dance is owned and operated by April Cheyney in Ogallala, Nebraska, and has been in operation since 1994.

The studio educates students, both boys and girls, in the fine art of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Pointe'.

April's School of Dance will be having our 33rd Annual Open House/ Registration for the upcoming dance season on Thursday, August 27th, at 4:00-5:30, and Monday, August 31st, at 4:00-6:00!! YES!! This is our 33rd YEAR!! 🙌

**Classes being offered for all Girls AND Boys (yes, I have several boys in dance who are amazing at it) ages 3 and up!

**The dancers will be instructed in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Theatrical, and Pom Pom!

**The dance studio has produced SOO many successful dancers who have gone on to be Miss Nebraska, Cornhusker Cheerleaders, MANY majoring or minoring in dance, and many who have opened up their own successful studios!!!

If you’re looking for something to do on this BEAUTIFUL weekend., April's School of Dance dancers would like to invite you to attend our “Magic In Motion” dance recital this weekend! The recitals will be at the Ogallala High School Performing Arts Center on Saturday, May 16th, at 6:00, and a Sunday, May 17th, Matinee at 2:00. Admission is $5 each person age 5-105! Please join us in celebrating these amazing kiddos and support your local and surrounding town’s entertainment!!

April’s School of Dance is still offering ADULT dance classes!! ALL classes will have instruction in Ballet, Jazz, Combat Fitness, Barre Ballet Training, Line Dancing, Hip Hop, Step Classes, Fitness Drumming, and Tabata based workouts as well! We typically get in 3-5 miles a class and burn around 450-650 active calories.

** NO EQUIPMENT NEEDED
** NO PERFORMANCES
** NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED

It’s never too late to invest in yourself! This is your chance if you’ve always dreamed of being a dancer, wanted to learn to dance, or just have fun while getting a good workout! All classes on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings. Gather up a group of friends to come and have some Girl Time, Mommy Time, some YOU Time!! There is no age limit; classes are for 18 and up.
