I'm finally getting around to posting these from a last minute wedding in mid-July. When I say 'last minute', I mean I was contacted around 1pm on a Saturday and was asked if I could be at the location at 6pm. There was a sad ordeal with their original photographer, but I was able to step in and capture their special moment.

It was held in the backyard of a gorgeous home in Green Tree right on the golf course. Technically it was difficult given the harsh sun light, the breeze and the heat, but I'm very happy with how these turned out.

A very late, but heartfelt congratulations to Lupe and Natalie. I know they have a lifetime of memories to make between them and their beautiful two children.

Texas Stock Rally had a great turnout at the 8.22.26 Cars & Coffee at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center . Yeah these are a bit late. I was running errands and then experienced the worst pain in my life.

If you don't know me, I'm almost completely tattooed from the neck down all the way to my toes...yes my feet and toes are tattooed too. I enjoy pain as a release from the grind of life, but this...this was different. All signs pointed to a kidney stone, but the CT didn't show a stone. Who knows, but leave it to me to be the mystery patient. I'm about 90% back to normal.

It's been a slow season, but my goodness....who wants to do photos in 110 degree heat? Sheesh. Well, Sarah Williams and her awesome family braved the heat week before last for a quick evening session in Midland. First time shooting at this location, but I can't wait to beat it to death. There are so many little spots I want to try all within a small area.

Here's the first hot rod I shot in Snyder on Saturday evening. We've all seen our share of t buckets, but I've never seen one this clean. You could eat off any part of this car and not worry about it. The mix of the blue, subtle flames and the torch red interior is so sexy. The whitewalls... chef's kiss to top it off. Jason tells me that he drives this thing regularly around town and to work. His grandson is most definitely the coolest kid on the block with a replica pedal car of Jason's. I bet they make a cool team cruising the streets to grab a burger and shake. 😎

I've shot some interesting things before. Exotics built with no expense spared. Priceless cars in a museum. SEMA builds. Some of the nicest Mustangs from Texas. On and on and on. But this is hands down the wildest thing I've ever had the chance to shoot. My mind can't comprehend the amount of skill, patience and work that went into meticulously cutting each and every spot out of this car. Rae Ripple has a gift and skill that is unmatched. She is an incredible artist.
