🎭 Step into the spotlight this summer at the Clemens Center!
The Clemens Center is excited to launch its 2026 Summer Theatre Camp for students entering grades 9–12 — a hands-on, behind-the-scenes experience where creativity takes center stage.
📅 June 29 – July 25
🕕 Monday–Friday, 6:00–9:00 PM
📍 Held at the Clemens Center, with final performances in the Powers Theater
Whether you’re drawn to the stage or the magic behind it, there’s a place for you:
✨ Writers (June 29–July 17, optional extension through July 25)
Adapt classic one-act plays into modern stories while collaborating with actors and learning how scripts come to life.
🎬 Stage Technicians (July 6–25)
Dive into lighting, sound design, and color theory while working alongside professional theater technicians.
👗 Costumers (July 6–25)
Design and create costumes under the guidance of an experienced fashion professional with industry expertise.
🎭 Actors (July 6–25)
Explore acting with a twist—learn puppetry techniques inspired by productions like War Horse, The Lion King, and Life of Pi, while developing performance skills with an experienced mentor.
🎟️ Performance Dates:
• Saturday, July 24 at 7:30 PM
• Sunday, July 25 at 2:00 PM
💲 Cost: $275 per student
(Includes 2 complimentary tickets to a performance)
