Over the weekend we enjoyed cheering on these local showmen at their annual summer Lamb Show, hosted by 🐑

It was almost a small taste of the Fair coming up later this year! Livestock shows are a pivotal feature at our County-wide Fair. It allows these showmen the spotlight they deserve to showcase the hard work, discipline, and determination they have built upon, all throughout the year. Showing livestock isn't just an extracurricular activity. It's a choice that teaches and builds strong kids with confidence, perseverance, and resilience. 🐄🐂🐑🐐🐖

Make plans to come see these kids, their animals, and much more on October 2 and 3rd at the County arena. We will have lamb, goat, beef, dairy, and pigs to showcase!

As we celebrate 250 years of America, we're reminded that agriculture has always been at the heart of our nation's story.

From family farms to county fairs, from youth livestock projects to the next generation of agricultural leaders, our future is rooted in the values of hard work, responsibility, and service.

This Fourth of July, let's celebrate the traditions that grow our food, care for our natural resources, and keep rural America thriving.

We honor those who continue to fight for our freedoms and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Here's to 250 years of freedom—and to the generations who will carry agriculture and our nation forward.
