🎳 FALL BOWLING IS HERE - AT MAPLEWAY!

NOTE: Not “fall bowling” like you fall down and shove the ball down the lane. Although... now that we think about it. 🤔

🗓️We’re officially moving into our fall & winter schedule, which means the leagues are back, the lanes are getting busier, and we’ve got a couple spots we’d love to fill.

First, a BIG heads-up for our junior bowlers and parents:

🎳 JUNIOR BOWLING LEAGUE - AGES 8-18
Sign-Up Day: Saturday, Sept. 12 at 11 AM
First Week of League: Saturday, Sept. 19 at 11 AM

If you’ve got a kid who loves bowling, wants to get better, or just wants something fun to do on Saturday mornings, come on down!

And adults... we need ONE more full team for our Tuesday Night League!

👉 Tuesdays at 7 PM
👉 4 bowlers per team

Grab three friends, coworkers, relatives, neighbors... basically anyone you can tolerate for a couple hours every Tuesday night.

OPEN BOWLING - FALL/WINTER HOURS

Monday-Friday: 5-6:30 PM & after 10 PM
Saturday: 2-6:30 PM & after 10 PM
Sunday: Noon-4 PM beginning Sept. 20

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE:
Sunday open bowling begins Sept. 20.
We’ll also be CLOSED Sept. 6-7 for Labor Day.

League season does mean lane availability can get a little tighter, so if you’re making a special trip, give us a call first at (262) 567-0237.

Otherwise... fall bowling season is officially underway. Come see us! 🎳

🥵 **PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR YOUR BALLS.** 🎳

It’s in the 90s.
It’s muggy.
Everybody’s sweaty.

So please... take care of your balls.

• If your balls are sweaty, wipe ’em down.
• Don’t leave your balls sitting in a hot car.
• Keep your balls cool whenever possible.
• If you’ve been playing outside with your balls, give ’em a little extra attention afterward.
• And no matter how tempting yard bowling may be... maybe don’t leave your balls baking in the sun all afternoon.

Proper ball care is important, people.

And if your balls are looking a little rough after a long, hot summer...

**We’ve got a conditioner. Just sayin’.** 😏🎳

Meanwhile, somehow it’s already September, which means Mapleway is moving into our Fall/Winter schedule... despite Wisconsin apparently refusing to participate.

New hours will be posted... soon-ish.

Following his return home and an unexpected appearance on the front page of the Oconomowoc Enterprise, Owlfredo agreed to sit down with us to address what the paper has officially dubbed “The Great Owl Caper.”

At Owlfredo's request, members of the media were asked to disable their camera flashes. We're told the bright lights can be a bit much for him.

Today is a difficult day for the Mapleway family.

It's International Owl Awareness Day.

For years, our beloved owl faithfully watched over the parking lot.

He saw things.

Things no owl should ever have to witness.

He quietly supervised decades of questionable life choices after closing time... and never told a soul.

Then one day just recently...
..he was gone.

We haven't heard from his kid/owlnapers.

No ransom note.

No demands.

No proof of life.

We've even left the porch light on.

Nothing.

The parking lot just isn't the same.

Neither are we.

WE ARE NOT THE SAME.

We're just... Mapleway B... 😭

Lately we've started seeing little reminders of him in some of the most unexpected places.

We're trying not to read too much into it.

If you've seen a weathered owl statue that looks suspiciously familiar, please let us know.

No questions asked.

We just want our boy home.

Just a reminder of our wacky hours today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday.)

Tonight we will be CLOSING AT 11pm... for a private party.

Saturday, we'll be OPENING AT 9pm... and then have OPEN BOWLING ALL NIGHT. 🤪
