TWO full length feature films have come out of my class, The Actor's Group Orlando! Both written and produced by students, and both directed and produced by, The Actor's Group Orlando, alum. and multi award winning director, Mariah Morgenstern.
Both films used students who were ready for the camera.
Also, my class has been rated the #1 class in Orlando, which may as well be the state FL. because Orlando is the hub when it comes to the biz in FL.
I teach my guys to WIN!!

HEY!
I am proud to announce that "SKIMMER",a comedy, is now complete and off to festivals. Here is the trailer.
"SKIMMER" is one of TWO feature films that have come out of my class; one more (THE GETAWAY CREW)is on the way.. ALL students.
All but two actors in "SKIMMER" are my students.
I am also co-starring.
BOTH directed by multi award winning director, Mariah Morgenstern, an alumni student herself and owner of NEW ROYALTY FILMS.
I did not write or produce these films.. but proud to have inspired those who did.
Not many, if any, classes can make the same boast!
Those who stuck with the program are flourishing and prospering!
CONGRATS to Sean Dawkins and Mariah Morgenstern and ALL the cast and grew! Making dreams a reality!
This has been a dream of mine since I began teaching! To get my guys up, running and living their dreams.

I will never understand (actually I do) why many actors wish to be in classes where they are basically asked to torment or invalidate themselves for an "emotional response" or "connection".
It's a form of self abuse..it is definitely an insecurity of self.
It's not the game the Brits or Aussies play.
I won't even debate this..I have seen it with my own eyes. There is a better and easier way. But for some..if they are not getting beaten up..they are not happy and actually convince themselves that they are making progress.

SO PROUD!
TWO LEGIT feature films have now come out of my class!
"The Getaway Crew" (NOW FILMING), written by Amanda Dewland and Oliver Merrill. And "Skimmer", written by Sean Dawkins.
Both using TAG students and both directed by an award winning director and Alum, Mariah Morgenstern!
My job is not just to teach and inform...but also to inspire. I hope that to some degree that I had a hand in, besides acting, inspiring these young and talented filmmakers!
TAG students in LA:
Bernie Rodriguez just booked his second SAG feature film out in LA.
Hannah Martinez booked yet another commercial out in LA.
Rachel Ali is coming closer everyday to booking a series regular.
Jennifer Whitman has also booked short films and commercials out there.
Maui Kai Malone has also booked commercials out there.
Chris Scott will soon do the same!
And they have not been out there a long time!
Those who stuck with the program, listened, and then put it all into practice, are winning at this game.

Stellar news!
This will be the second full length feature film to come out from my class, The Actors Group Orlando!
Both with serious budgets!
The first one, "SKIMMER, written and produced by a student, is in post production in LA and almost in final cut and being readied for festivals.
The second, now in pre production, is a lovely screenplay with charming and refreshing three dimensional characters called, "The Getaway Crew".
It was beautifully written by two students, Amanda Dewland and Oliver Merrill and will be directed by alum student, Mariah Morgenstern, who also directed and produced, "Skimmer" last year.
I had a fun role in "Skimmer" and now have a great role in "The Getaway Crew"
Mariah is a phenomenal talent as well as an award winning director and producer who, only being in LA for a few yrs, has accomplished much. Her style of directing is so informed, very unique and very refreshing. She knows film and it shows!
She will be assembling her crew out of LA and the film will be shot entirely here in Florida.
She's also a very gifted singer songwriter and can be found on youtube under the name "Myah".
The films incorporate those students who are fully trained and camera ready, (some flew out from LA last yr for "Skimmer") for the leads and co stars, as well as minor roles and extras. WE keep it in the family!
"The Getaway Crew" can and will be a a festival "darling" when completed.
This was a dream I had many yrs ago when I started this class. No class I ever studied with in LA (waste of time actually) ever had these kind of driven students.
They say that I have inspired them..well..they inspire ME!
They are taught to BELIEVE and CREATE..anything is possible!
I love and am very proud of all of them!
As I always say, those who stuck with the program reap the rewards.
Mariah Morgenstern :
As a director ---
She directed (5) short films, (1) feature, and on track now to do her 2nd feature film.
She was nominated for (2) VMAs in 2021, and in 2022 a short film she produced and screened alongside Spielberg's daughter at Tribeca.

As an acting coach/mentor..and as a friend...it is the most rewarding and exciting experience to be witnessing a student of mine, standing at the cusp of greatness, getting ready to TAKE OFF!
Best damn phone conversation I have had in decades. Someone is now stepping on and into the big leagues in LA!..you know..the BIG TOWN! I spent thirty yrs working out there..I know what it takes!
I am elated!! I am honored to have had them as a student..and now as a great friend! 😎🙏✍️🎬🎥🎞... a very tearful and beautiful conversation.
I knew from the beginning that this kid would pull it off!!!
Updates to follow. There is no better training program anywhere..that TAG! WE train for the big time.

Lead instructor Bob Caso here.
Well my final day of shooting "SKIMMER" will be on Monday..in fact the whole film wraps on Monday.
The experience was special in many ways. I have not been in front of the camera since 2015 due to my class structure; you can't cancel classes when fifty students are attending over a four day period plus Atlanta doesn't treat LONG TIME UNION members like myself with the respect we deserve...so I don't bother auditioning anymore... I actually enjoy writing better..so I write myself into my own work.
So it was amazing to be able to do what I had to do, at my age, in the Florida heat! There were nerves at first because, like everything else, it's a muscle that must be worked. That's why actors who are not working on a regular bases (legit projects) need to stay in class..like a boxer has to stay in the gym. Those who don't.. don't do as well.
BUT YEP! I still got it! It was a high energy and funny role!
But what was really special is that the whole thing basically generated out of my class, The Actors Group Orlando! This is/was amazing and inspirational. I can sleep well.
Wonderfully Written by my student, and lead actor, Sean Dawkins..who also produced the film ( no easy feat raising all that cash) most all of the co stars except for a couple of roles, were my students, Bernie Rodriguez, Tyler Re**er, Rachel Ali,Jennifer Whitman,Chris Scott,Jose Garza and all who flew in from LA.. where by the way they are doing great..to be in this film. And Hannah Martinez, my right hand in the class. And many other students as background or featured extras.
The director and exec producer, Mariah Morgenstern,is an alum of the class. I knew her potential when as a student and have watched her career flourish since she moved to LA only a few short yrs ago. She has been winning awards and accolades for her directing and producing..she actually makes her sole living as a director and producer..no easy feat at her young age; she is a BADASS! She had a vision for this film that enhanced it more than I can say. She and her crew were hustling in the Florida heat like the young pros they are. Her D of P, Mitch, is a fantastic shooter..the stills and playback I have seen are on another level for an Indie film..for any film. Her 1st AD,another female, was amazing! When will we men learn our lesson? Just let the ladies handle it!! I've learned that!
Working opposite my guys, which was an honor, was a very unique experience.. for both of us.. and I think they learned a lot! 😎😉.
As one of my LA students remarked to my Orlando students when she stopped by my studio before flying out, "You all know how Bob can bu****it? Well, he can back all that bu****it up!" We had a great time working together..they were able to see that their instructor can walk the talk. My guys can also walk the talk.
I was always hopeful of legacy.. I see now what my legacy will be. Artists thriving, and feeling free to create.. unencumbered by insecurity or doubt confident in the tools they were taught.
What an experience... The TAG family doing what they love.
Thankyou Mariah Morgenstern for your genius.. and easy going manner when things got rough. WE ALL owe you so much. I love and adore you. Thankyou Sean Dawkins for the words.. I channeled my dad! LOL! Thank you to all my guys who made the effort and put the time in.
Thank you Hannah Martinez for all the work you do keeping me from running into walls!! You are so LOVED, appreciated and adored... NOW come and get that damn couch!!

Well it's done!!.. and "we" are going into production, shooting at various locations throughout Orlando!!! I didn't write it nor am I producing it..but I have been gifted a great, ball busting character in a supporting role in this lovely screenplay!
The amazing thing is this, (dreams do come true),..many yrs ago when my son, Vince, and I established my class, The Actors Group Orlando, I postulated that one day as I trained my guys..they would go on to have fruitful professional careers..now it is happening.
The film is written and produced by my student Sean Dawkins!
It is directed by my old student, Mariah Morgenstern who has been climbing the ladder of success in LA for the last few yrs. She is an award winning director and producer, (she will be directing two of my films),in her own right. Mariah makes her living directing and producing, rare for her age..she is one film away from hitting BIG! She has won multiple awards for her work. She is tough and extremely talented!
Her D of P is also out of LA. Serious people folks!
Even better!! ALL my guys now in LA and who are killing it there; booking work, and who are still with my class via zoom...are flying out for lead and supporting roles in the film!
All extras and smaller roles are also cast out of my class! This is what this class does!
This is a legit indie feature... I am proud to be a part of it, I am proud of my students..and proud to say that there is no other class anywhere like The Actors Group Orlando! WE train for success!
An amazingly creative group.. and WE are FAMILY!

Here are two of our best(I have many others) ,Hannah Martinez and Tyler Re**er.
Both have great careers in front of them, Tyler is in LA and doing very well. Hanna is on her way!
Pure and powerful emotion through connectedness and understanding of character and text.
In this case on ZOOM and in two different states w/out the luxury of studio lighting, studio makeup, camera angles etc...
In my class there is no psychological mumbo jumbo, (mommy/daddy issues that introvert the actor and cloud their ability to freely create).. and no time wasting repetition exercises. Beings have multitudes inside them..as well as IMAGINATION...so no need for painful and introverting memories..that old hackneyed crap is dead...or should be. Just great empathy for others as well as self.
WE help the actor to tap into their innate creative and spiritual nature..we teach them how to see within and LOOK without..after all, they are duplicating and then communicating LIFE..on stage or screen. My students are made to realize that the artist is the most vital part of and to a society, a culture.. and to civilization. They are in a NOBLE profession!
It is the artist who dreams up new realities.
A culture that does not contribute to or value it's artists, is a culture on the way OUT!
I have had the JOY of acting on stage, in film and TV.. I am a writer/producer as well..but my greatest joy has been helping my students, ARTISTS, find themselves as artists..and inspiring them to have a career in this amazing profession of ours.
