About Alex:
Alex Kip is a multifaceted artist and president of AKip Productions living in New York City. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theater from the University of Michigan, and is a graduate in acting from the London Dramatic Academy. His first play, “My Other Voice,” is based on his experience as a cancer survivor. It premiered at the Arthur Miller Theatre and was named “The Best of the Best” by the Detroit Free Press. During his senior year of college, Kip was diagnosed with cancer and told he had a 15-30% chance of survival. He lost his singing voice during treatment and knew he had to fight the cancer with all he had. He is now in complete remission with his voice restored and stronger than ever.
