Tonight we will host our second session for this year’s Reading Festival, an annual literacy event from the CLC.  This morning’s session was so powerful and timely considering the challenges many of our students, friends, and community members are facing with regards to homeless and the pressures of the living on the streets; so, we hope it is not too late to convince you to join us tonight at 7:30pm and/or to share this amazing opportunity with your students.

We are excited to announce that BSU will be hosting United Black Student Conference (UBSC) 2021! The event will be held virtually from February 22-February 25, 3pm-5pm. The theme is overall Black Excellence, however, each day will have its own specific theme.

Join us to learn from and engage with our amazing guest speakers, attend workshops, and enjoy spoken poetry performances!

At a moment where the struggle against racism has often been coopted by systems of power, this workshop seeks to expand our understanding of oppression and ways to overcome it.
