This spring was crazy with work. I painted so much in such a short time that it felt like I never got a chance to sit with any of these murals, the moment that one was finished it was time to start the next. Now it’s peak summer at home, the long days begin to bleed together and everything that came before feels like a dream.

I’m so grateful for everything that’s lead to this and for all of the support I’ve received along the way. This mural in particular felt like a light bulb flipping on. The chance to create something new and an opportunity to explore techniques. I hope this dream keeps playing out.

It’s been such a crazy couple of months. I don’t even know where to begin with writing a caption. Does anyone even read these anymore? Anywho, thanks to everyone that’s helped me get through this busy time, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.

Vote the Environment is a global get-out-the-vote campaign organized by PangeaSeed Foundation that calls on artists and creatives from around the world to create artworks that inspire voters to cast their ballots with the welfare of the planet and people in mind.

The impacts of the global climate crisis, pollution, and overexploitation of natural resources, both on land and beneath the waves, are causing species extinction, habitat destruction, and environmental injustices at an unprecedented rate.

Never has it been more urgent to elect representatives who will work to protect our planet for present and future generations.

Hồ Tinh in Vietnam, Húli jīng in China, Kitsune in Japan, Kumiho in Korea. Whatever you call it, this legend of foxes transforming into beautiful women is pervasive throughout Eastern Asia and although the legends often tell that these fox-monsters/spirits transform in order to lure people to their deaths, they are also often portrayed as benevolent creatures that will help people and sometimes marry those that they entrance. One of my favorite things about non-Christian traditions is they often take a more nuanced view of the world. The truth is never black-and-white, good and evil, people are many things at once and we all would do well to remember that.

If you’re in Denver go check out this mural at Pho & Bar on 17th and Franklin. They just opened up and I can already tell it’s gonna be a happening spot.

Thanks to for trusting me to make her space rad and to for introducing us. Sorry I look bummed out in this pic, I’m actually quite thrilled.
