Mini Comic #1 “The Bunker”

Squaregeant Sage & squad encounter a circle held bunker while on patrol with their platoon.

Am I still making comics? You bet your sweet $&@! I’ve decided to make smaller strip style comics and posting them online to grow my audience. The plan is to make a separate book compiled with strips that weren’t posted online down the road. These strips will be “episodic” and each one will have different stories and battle scenarios following Squaregeant Sage and Squad.

The website (link in bio) is updated with this new character design and just has the comic strips for now so they can be shared via email for those without social media. I’ll be adding more to the site soon.

Square Soldiers returns in 2022! A fresh start in the series. New format. New true vintage coloring process. Same gritty shape warfare 💥

Posts will be limited for the remainder of the year. Lots of plot outlines and storyboarding will be happening before the pen will even be touching paper on the pages. A lot has been learned these last couple years and Square Soldiers will be back and better then ever!

Old comic book inventory will be sold until inventory runs out.

Issues 1-3 covers REMASTERED! ✍️ photos after each one are the originals. Issue 4 “Red Beach” only had some minor font and title tweaks.

The very last photo is the upcoming “Quadrivium” book which is a compilation of the first 4 books! We will be giving away a handful of them once it is compiled.

Issue 1 Cover: “Swept Back at Kodiak Creek” REMASTERED 💪 2nd picture was the original. Really had fun going back and touching this up. It was cool to reference Squaregeant Sage’s uniform from issue 1 and see how his design has evolved.

Square Soldiers History

Square Soldiers in an animated series that follows little square characters in different historically accurate war periods. Square Soldiers first started in 2010 using a old online software called “Shape Shifter” on “Aniboom”. After the software was no longer usable, Square Soldiers bounced around on a couple of different animation programs until finally perfecting the formula on Adobe After effects. This content is created by a Infantry Mortarman / P.I.G (2012-2016) & 11B Infantryman in the National Guard (2017-Now)
