Incredible detail throughout—depth soundings, shoals, navigational aids, Coast Guard stations, restricted areas and even wartime navigation warnings. Beautifully custom framed in a wide charcoal wood frame and ready to hang.

A remarkable pair of original Harper’s Weekly Washington, D.C. views by Theodore R. Davis, published thirteen years apart in 1869 and 1882.

Together, the engravings capture the extraordinary transformation of the nation’s capital following the Civil War—from the developing city surrounding the White House to the expanding National Mall, Smithsonian buildings, U.S. Capitol and Washington Monument.

Original 19th-century wood engravings with period hand coloring, newly conservation framed as a matching pair. Each measures 28.25 x 23 inches framed.

A glimpse into Raphael’s Vatican.

This remarkable set of four 18th-century hand-colored engravings comes from the celebrated Loggie di Rafaele nel Vaticano, engraved by Giovanni Ottaviani after Raphael’s Renaissance frescoes. Published in Rome in the 1770s, the intricate compositions weave together biblical scenes, classical mythology, architectural ornament, and extraordinary decorative detail.

Beautifully custom framed and especially striking displayed as a set.
