Artists have officially been notified for the 48th Annual Peter Anderson Festival, and we are getting ready to introduce you to the incredible makers who will be joining us this November!

From original paintings and pottery to jewelry, photography, woodwork, fiber art, sculpture, and so much more, this year's festival will bring an amazing collection of talented artists to downtown Ocean Springs.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing the things that make this festival so special.

🎨 Meet the artist behind the 2026 Peter Anderson Festival T-shirt!

We’re excited to announce Gulfport artist Adam Plitt as the creator of this year’s commemorative T-shirt artwork! 👏

Unveiled Tuesday evening at Marcello's - A Taste of New Orleans, Adam’s design beautifully captures the legacy of the Anderson family and the tradition of the Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival. The artwork features Peter Wade Anderson throwing pottery, surrounded by fun festival-inspired details like tents and more.

It’s a meaningful nod to where the festival began while celebrating the artists, makers, businesses and visitors who make Peter Anderson what it is today. ❤️

🎨 A new chapter in Peter Anderson Festival history is about to be revealed!

For the first time in nearly 50 years, the official festival T-shirt artwork was chosen through a public artist design competition—and we can’t wait to show you the winning design! ✨

Join us Tuesday, August 18, from 5:30–6:30 p.m. at Marcello’s - Taste of New Orleans for our Meet the Artist Reception. You’ll get a first look at the 2026 T-shirt artwork, meet the winning artist and hear the inspiration behind the design.

👕 And don’t forget your Peter Anderson history! Bring your oldest festival T-shirt for a chance to win a $50 Marcello’s gift card. We want to see just how far back your collection goes!

🎨 Behind the Scenes: The Jury Process Has Begun

Now that applications have closed, the work behind the scenes is underway!

Our jury is carefully reviewing each artist application for the 48th Annual Peter Anderson Festival. Every application is evaluated on originality, craftsmanship, and overall quality to help create one of the Southeast’s premier arts festivals.

This thoughtful process takes time, and we appreciate the patience of all applicants. Artists will be notified of their application status by August 20.

As we count down to November 7–8, 2026, we’ll begin sharing festival updates, artist spotlights, entertainment announcements, visitor information, and more to help you plan your weekend in beautiful downtown Ocean Springs.

Thank you to the incredible artists who submitted applications to be part of this year's festival. Our jury has officially begun the review process, and notifications will be sent by August 20.

We appreciate everyone's interest in being part of one of the Southeast's premier arts festivals and can't wait to share what's in store for November 7–8, 2026 in beautiful downtown Ocean Springs.

The Peter Anderson Festival features more than 400 artists, live music, local food vendors, the Blue Moon Art Project, and the unique shopping, dining, and coastal charm that make Ocean Springs a favorite destination each fall.
