Shoutout to everyone who made in its 18th year, a success. Thanks to all the folks who showed up to listen, all the musicians who shared songs, all the businesses who lent spaces to host, all the people who ran sound and lent equipment. A serious feat by each of the organizers in making this showcase represent what music feels like in Asbury Park, NJ.

✨🎶 Today we celebrate Juneteenth, a day to honor freedom, resilience, and the incredible contributions of Black artists and creators who have shaped our culture.

From jazz legends like Count Basie to Asbury Park’s own Billy Brown of The Drifters, Black musicians have played an essential role in shaping the sound and history of music across generations.

As we prepare for Asbury Underground, we’re proud to celebrate the artists, musicians, and storytellers who continue to inspire our community and make Asbury Park a place where creativity thrives.
