In the Spotlight with Pamela Davis

Let’s talk about a local gem in Ocean City, NJ—Salty Treasures, located at 825 Asbury Avenue. This boutique is owned and operated by Dr. Jasmyne Davis, a retired teacher who always dreamed of opening her own shop by the shore. From May through November, she keeps the doors open 7 days a week—and yes, she’s there every day, running the show.

Jasmyne puts a lot of thought into what goes on the shelves, and it shows. She’s particular about what she carries and keeps things fresh and unique.

As her daughter, I help out from time to time—whether it’s covering a few hours, jumping in to help during a block party, or just giving her a well-deserved day off. It’s always a family effort.

And if you ever stop by, take a look at the bench out front—you might catch my dad, Philip Davis, soaking up the sun and chatting with folks as they pass by.

Next time you’re in Ocean City, make it a point to stop into Salty Treasures—you never know what you’ll find.
