Unusual Suspects
Original music duo performing in the DC area. Both are veteran performers from different types of popular music.

Sherri Bale
Original stories by a talented writer of fiction and essay.

Thayer Brothers
Three songwriters in one group with song styles ranging from melancholy to great days. Guitar, harp and harmonies and award winning songwriting.

Bouzouki Americana
Bouzouki Americana is a combination of rock, country and pop originals played on the Irish bouzouki, an 8 stringed instrument in the mandolin family. With strong lyrics and heartfelt performance, he conveys his unique perspective on life, love and the Eastern Shore.

Bring a little piece of the Eastern Shore home with you! This month, we’re featuring two talented artists in the Art League of Ocean City Gift Shop whose work celebrates the beauty of the beach in wonderfully unique ways.

Lisa Guerriero – Shell Wine Stoppers
Lisa transforms colorful, one-of-a-kind shells into beautiful wine bottle stoppers and jewelry. She loves finding creative ways to repurpose and preserve her shell collection, creating pieces that bring a little bit of the beach into your everyday life.

Jessica Beck – Hand-Painted Shells
Ocean City landmarks, painted on Ocean City shells! Jessica uses acrylics to hand-paint familiar OC and Eastern Shore scenes onto shells she collects right here on the beach. Each one comes packaged in a mesh bag with its own mini easel, making it a perfect keepsake or gift.

Honor a life. Challenge the stigma.

Stigma Highlighted: Beyond the Label connects local artists with families who have lost loved ones to addiction to create meaningful portraits that celebrate the person beyond the stigma.

Through art and shared stories, this community legacy project will honor each individual's personality, passions, accomplishments, and lasting impact.

Experienced local artists are invited to apply to create a portrait honoring an individual whose life was lost to addiction.

Maryland families who have lost a loved one to addiction are invited to apply to have their loved one's portrait and story included in the project.

Portraits & stories will be exhibited at Salisbury University in Spring 2027 and the Art League of Ocean City in September 2027.

Following the exhibitions, participating families will receive the original portrait as a lasting tribute.

Showcase and sell your work this holiday season at the Art League of Ocean City’s annual Holiday Artisan Fair, December 4–5!

We’re looking for authors and 3D artisans creating jewelry, glass, ceramics, sculpture, mixed media, fiber arts, and more.

🎨 Open to Art League members
📅 Entry Deadline: Friday, October 23 at 4 PM
🎄 Fair: Friday, Dec. 4, 5–7 PM & Saturday, Dec. 5, 11 AM–4 PM
