✍️ A message from Matt to the community:

My son Tyler and I both agree that Jeremy Brink and his team at Ocean 13 deserve some special recognition tonight. They volunteered last year, provided food at cost, and went the extra mile to help us save BikeFest for our community in 2025 — and they have stepped up BIG TIME again in 2026.

Rock the Mic was a success for 10 weeks last year and even bigger this year. Seeing the support, the talent, and the community come together around it has been amazing. See ya at OC Rock and Ride to watch the finalists compete! So much talent — AMAZING!

Everyone present at Ocean 13 tonight, for the final night of Rock the Mic Karaoke, was given a 3-Day GA ticket!

We have a LOT of people to thank for everything that goes into OC Rock and Ride, and none of this happens without our entire team, our partners, sponsors, volunteers, businesses, and everyone working behind the scenes. Tonight, though, we wanted to take a minute to recognize Jeremy and his team for everything they have done to support us and this event.

Our Royal Plus customers and our community wanted Bikefest to continue, and that is a huge reason why we stepped up. This event almost went away forever, and that would have been a tremendous loss for Ocean City and Delmarva.

Whether you own a business, work behind the scenes, serve customers, sponsor an event, or volunteer your time: at the end of the day, we are all working to provide for our families and support our community.

Together, we got this.

Bikefest has a $50 million impact on our community. Our businesses, co-workers, families, Delmarva, and local charities all benefit when Bikefest grows responsibly and succeeds.

Our customers look at OC Rock and Ride/Bike Week as ONE event. No matter what bar, restaurant, store, hotel, or venue they visit. When one of us does well, it helps all of us.

Let’s keep supporting each other, lifting each other up, and showing everyone who comes to town what Ocean City is all about.
