KV’s got a new album coming out this week and it soundz like gold! ✌🏻 The song Chance to Bleed is an earworm of the highest caliber. 🥨

On a beautiful summer night a couple of years ago in Atlantic City, I saw an all-female AC⚡️DC cover band at the Golden Nugget, then rode a giant pretzel over to to catch Kurt Vile. Now that was an old time, lo-fi, d.i.y., rock ‘n roll NIGHT! 🎸

May The Fourth Be With You! 💫

Here’s to Greedo, that wonderful weirdo! He’s always been one of my favorite Star Wars characters. He looks like the ideal alien for his time and place. 🔫

I would love to see a prequel movie starring Greedo as sort of a James Bond spy/bounty hunter. He would get into all sorts of danger while blasting his way through the galaxy. But after a long day of secret agenting, he would always end up at the Mos Eisley cantina for a pint of that sweet blue milk- shaken, not stirred. 🍸

🐙 Here’s my piece for Tattooed Mom’s Birthday Celebration Art Show on April 24th 🍻🎉🎂

I tried to incorporate everything that makes me think of that wonderful place. All of the fun experiences I have had there and all of the friends that I have made, or met up with there. Sometimes there aren’t enough octopus arms to showcase all of the delicious food and drink options, but I got the major players. I also wanted to pay respects to friends of mine who have tagged or stickered up the joint. If you don’t know, Mom’s is a mecca for street art and artists of all kinds. I hope I didn’t forget anybody, I kept it Tmom’s-centric to people that I associate with the place. ✌🏻

Looking forward to the party and enjoying a vegan Chubbsteak wrap with a PBR! 🌯

Draw a Picture of a Bird Day! 🐦‍⬛

I started this sketch a while back after saving a stunned starling from the middle of a busy intersection. I got to sit with the magnificent celestial bird for a couple of minutes until he disappeared into the sky again. ☁️

The European Starling, or Common Starling everywhere else, is an invasive species here in North America. They are competitive to our native birds and are known as pests to orchards and crops. You may associate them as the large droves of noisy black birds seen hanging out in treetops. But if you look at them closely, they are full of beautiful iridescent colors. With their speckles as stars, they look like they have entire galaxies in their feathers. And their sounds are otherworldly too! ✨

Draw a Picture of a Bird Day goes back to WWII, when a little girl asked her wounded soldier uncle to draw a bird. It is now seen as a day to spread cheer and encourage others. 🕊️
