To dive in, to go past discomfort, to continue on when you're not "perfect", doing your best to shed the old you. Being on the road in the middle of nowhere, all while being an absolute swamp creature with a checkered past and learning to embrace the f*ck out of it all.
That's what this song "Sojourn" is about. It was written on that roadtrip in 21' up in the Redwoods, Humboldt CA

I know pride can cometh before a fall, but I'm f'n proud of myself for how much I've grown and the time I spent putting down the bottle to focus and to look at myself in the mirror. Still got work to do, that's the human condition.
I've learned the more you open up, the more you realize how similar we all are.
