See you tonight for the first SUMMER DANCE INTENSIVE! Ballet starts at 5pm, tap at 6:30pm, jazz at 7pm.

☀Don't miss your chance for summer dance!☀ Our super-popular SUMMER DANCE INTENSIVE is back this year and starts ⭐this Sunday night!⭐ It's six weeks of Sunday nights with your choice of ballet, tap, jazz, or any combination of them. Drop in here and there (pay as you go), just take your favorite dance style, focus on what needs the most work in your skill set, sign up for all in advance and save... whatever you want. Step this way!

SUMMER DANCE INTENSIVE 2026
Sundays, May 31 – July 5, 5-9 p.m.
For ages 16+

Want to become a more confident dancer? Have you taken ballet or intro to dance classes previously, but you could use a refresher on your moves and techniques? Or are you brand-new to the dance side of performing? Maybe you want to refresh your tap steps or learn tap to add it to your repertoire. Whether you’ve got upcoming auditions in mind or just want to have fun dancing, on or off the stage, look no further than this class! It’s a great six-week intensive in ballet, tap, and jazz for a wide range of skill levels.

INSTRUCTOR: Reese Evans

TUITION: $10 per class/$25 per Sunday if you take all three/$135 for the whole term if you register and pay in advance. Please Note: Class prices do not include applicable fees. A $1 administrative fee per student, per class and standard credit card processing fees will be added at checkout.

INTRO TO BALLET: 5-6 p.m.
We will do a combination of barre, step combinations, and across-the-floor work to help with your posture, flexibility, balance, poise, and technique that can translate into any physical activities you have coming up for the year! There's a reason that ballet is utilized as your base for dance, and even other forms of athleticism. (Have you seen the NFL players?) We recommend wearing ballet or jazz shoes for this class, along with form-fitting clothing so we can easily see your body lines while we work.

TAP: 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Tap involves moving your feet in a synchronized manner to a beat, pattern, or rhythm. In this hour-long class, you will improve your balance, coordination, and cognitive thinking skills while learning different tap steps and combos. We plan to utilize floor work, formation changes, and props in our combinations to get you moving and having fun each week. Please bring your tap shoes to class, or a tight-fitting dance shoe if you want to soft-shoe.

JAZZ IT UP: 8-9 p.m.
This class is geared towards theatrical dance, with different styles of jazz to get you comfortable for whatever may be thrown your way in upcoming auditions. We will focus on your balance, core strength, and footwork to make you comfortable and confident for the upcoming season, or just to get back into your dancer era. We will do combinations, chair work, kickline, and even some floor work, depending on the week. Character heels are encouraged. If you're new to heels, we recommend starting with a medium thickness heel at a lower height to ensure an easy transition from a general jazz shoe and to prevent any potential shoe damage. It is recommended to wear pants or leggings, or to bring knee pads if we delve into floor work.
