PattyRasmussenart.com I have a Bachelors in Nursing from University of Detroit Mercy , and worked in acute care psych 15 years. working on that!

Following that went into the Historic Lodging and Hospitality industry. I'm just a gal from Michigan with a small town heart and vintage soul. I love my family and friends, my cats, water, sunshine, art of all kinds and am somewhat of an introvert. You wouldn't know it when you meet me, but I truly need my time alone to renew my energy. I also love poetry and before my phone addiction a good book!

If you haven't thought about this in awhile. Trying journaling memories you have from your past that include scents. Don't remove your pen from the paper. Just start writing. I didn't know where to start but once I got going I easily filled three pages. It brought back good memories, and bittersweet memories. It was fun to find out that in Canada and American Avon was quite popular in the 70's! Many of us ladies had similar recall of our mom and her favorite avon perfume. (my dad had collectible cars and horses with avon cologne as well). The funniest thing was sharing the smell of Battle Creek, cereal and dog food. haha. From roosevelt hill where my mom and I and the dogs walked to we had a great view of downtown Battle Creek and a great aroma of the latest Kelloggs Cereal!
