As the daughter of country music royalty, Pam Tillis carved her own path with honest country records. From the platinum successes of "Homeward Looking Angel" and "Sweethearts Dance" to the chart-topping hits like "Shake the Sugar Tree" and "Maybe It Was Memphis," Tillis's journey reflects a commitment to soulful storytelling. A 3-time CMA award winner and 2-time Grammy recipient, Tillis's music resonates with a painful beauty, from her early hits to recent ventures like the 2012 Country Duo album "Dos Divas" with Lorrie Morgan.

During her performance guests will experience Pam Tillis’ rootsy classic country tunes as well as Mel Tillis covers and 90’s country hits.

Pam Tillis Acoustic Trio takes the stage tomorrow night! Great seats are still available at reillyartscenter.com ❤

Led by Allman Brothers’ bassist (78-82) David “Rook” Goldflies, A Brother's Revival is a legacy Allman Brothers Band whose bandleader spent years learning from and performing with Gregg, Dickey, Butch, and Jaimoe.

During the two-and-a-half-hour show, David leads A Brother's Revival through all the Allman Brothers’ songs that we love: Jessica, One Way Out, Statesboro Blues, Midnight Rider, Melissa, Ramblin’ Man, In Memory of Elizabeth Reed, Soulshine, Whipping Post, and a few surprises for the fans that enjoy the deep jams. These brothers perform the songs with authentic passion while paying homage to the improvisational spirit of the original band, pushing the songs to new heights.

Tickets for their November 5th 4 PM show are available only at reillyartscenter.com

At the Reilly Arts Center
Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023 at 4pm
Tickets from $38

Beginning with their first performances in the early 1970s, THE MANHATTAN TRANSFER have become the cornerstones of contemporary music. Originally launched by Tim Hauser in 1969, Hauser, Alan Paul, Janis Siegel and Laurel Masse were the group by 1972. Cheryl Bentyne joined the group in 1979 after Laurel Masse left. Known for their amazing harmony and versatility, incorporating pop, jazz, R&B, rock and roll, swing, symphonic, and a ca****la music, the group was signed by the legendary Ahmet Ertegun to Atlantic Records. The group made their recording debut with their self-titled album in 1975. Known primarily as an East Coast cult act, they expanded their following by starring in their own 1975 CBS-TV variety series as a summer replacement for the Cher Bono Show. Starting as an underground group in New York City, The Manhattan Transfer garnered international popularity when “Chanson D’Amour” from the 1976 Coming Out album became a number one hit in Europe.

The Reilly Arts Center officially unveils a new piece of public art. A new mural, located on the north-facing wall of the newly-expanded Reilly Arts Center was designed and painted by Ocala-based artist Justin Alsedek. The mural is 60' W x 10' H and features more than 50 different colors - making it a bold and creative addition to NE 9th Street.

The mural was a part of the larger vision for the Reilly Arts Center's 15,590 sq. ft. expansion which opened in January 2022. A call to artists was announced in July 2022 and Alsedek's proposal was awarded the project. The mural took approximately six weeks to complete and is the largest mural Alsedek has created to date.

"My thought process for making this design is to capture the many possibilities within the creation of music through movement, tempo and dynamics. I see this piece exemplifying a place where the music is waiting to be discovered," said Alsedek.

This mural is made possible by support from Ocala Electric Utility and serves as a long-lasting piece of public art for the community to enjoy.

The mural can be viewed at the Reilly Arts Center located at 500 NE 9th St. Ocala, FL 34470. To learn more about the artist, visit gypsea-arts.com.
