We had quite the glow-up in this week’s Summer Art Camp! Our young artists went all out, creating bold, glowing masterpieces in “Groovy and Glowing” (yes, we broke out the black lights 🖤 🔦) and exploring different mediums in “Painting Possibilities.” Everyone left with a portfolio full of fun and some paint on their hands. 🎨

There’s still time to register for our upcoming "Meet the Artist" camp! Through stories, gallery exploration and hands-on artmaking, young artists will be introduced to a different artist each day while experimenting with a variety of materials and creative techniques.

The Appleton is proud to participate in Blue Star Museums, a national initiative that thanks military families for their service by providing access to America’s cultural treasures. Through Labor Day, free admission is available to currently serving U.S. military personnel and up to five family members. The museum also extends free admission to U.S. veterans and their families. Military ID is required for entry.

Last week kicked off our annual Summer Art Camp program! We had 34 campers on-site and nearly 100 off-site for a special camp with one of our community partner schools, East Marion Elementary School. Thank you to Marion Cultural Alliance, who generously provided funding to support our 2025-2026 partner school activities!
