Always wanted to try oil painting? Put your fears aside. Paint confidently with the expert guidance of Sean Mullins. Cool off at Chelsea Art Center while stroke-by-stroke "Icy Path" comes to life on your canvas. Enjoy an afternoon of fellowship and oil painting wet-in-wet using various oil painting techniques with Sean Mullins.

NO experience needed! MAKE and TAKE! You will leave the class with your own masterpiece of this glowing scene, a completed 16″ x 20″ oil painting, ready to frame! And you will probably have made new painting friends, too!

“You will be amazed at what you can do”!

Ages: 13 to Adult Cost $65
All painting supplies included.

This summer the Chelsea Art Center Gallery space will celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence. Art related to the themes of Patriotism, America the Beautiful, and our precious Freedoms will fill the rooms with a glorious exhibition by talented local artists. All mediums welcome. Application Deadline is May 22, 2026.

We will need helpers to hang the exhibit on May 29, June 2 and 3rd.
