And somehow, these answers tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about us. 😂

We may have different favorites, different personalities, and very different bedtimes, but we all have one thing in common: we LOVE getting to dance, teach, and pour into our DDC dancers. 🤍

Our lobby renovation has officially entered the “if we don’t laugh, we’ll cry” phase. 😂

So yes, the group chat was a joke. The ceiling has NOT actually caved in. We promise. 😂

But the floors DID officially get started today! 🙌🏼 We’re doing our best to keep the laughs coming while we navigate a little construction chaos during opening month.

Thank you, truly, for being so understanding, flexible, and patient with us through all of this. We are SO grateful for our DDC community! 🤍

There’s a certain way we do things at DDC. 🤍

It’s in the way we celebrate the little wins, encourage the shy dancers, cheer for one another, and create a space where every dancer feels seen.

It’s in the friendships made in the lobby, the giggles before class, the nerves before a performance, the proud moments on stage, and the teachers who pour into their dancers far beyond the choreography.

It’s in beautiful ballet technique and strong training, but also in kindness, confidence, character, modesty, and learning to love the person you are becoming.

At Devotions Dance Company, we believe dance is about so much more than what happens on the stage.

🔨 A LITTLE CONSTRUCTION UPDATE FROM DDC! 🔨

It’s been quite a few busy days around the studio, but we are SO happy to share some exciting progress! ✨

The plumbing pipes have officially been replaced, and over the next couple of days, our new toilet will be installed and our beautiful new lobby flooring will begin to come together. We can finally see the finish line! 🙌🏼

A HUGE thank you to our DDC families for being so understanding and flexible as we navigate this completely unforeseen circumstance during the opening weeks of our new season. Your patience and grace have meant more than you know. 🤍

And despite the construction, we were thrilled to welcome our Monday night students with open arms tonight! Dance waits for no one! 🩰✨
