This Wednesday and every first Wednesday of the month, artists are welcome to bring 1-2 pieces of work that they would like to be critiqued. We will start with one each and then, if there's time, we will move on to everyone's second.

Held at Shapot Art Gallery located at 2318 NE 8th Rd, Ocala, FL 34470

These critiques are both friendly and constructive. We do not shoot anyone down. Instead, we build each other up by offering advice and opinions about that one piece of art that you've been stuck on, struggling with, or unsure if it's finished. Everyone critiques your work, and you help critique everyone else's work.

This event is free to community artists of all ages and mediums. Do you have a drawing, painting, photograph, sculpture, film, dance, poem, or song that you'd like to share? Come on out!

😯 It's been three whole years since the opening of On the Horizon: A Shared Experience!

On the Horizon was our second group exhbit at Shapot Art Gallery back in 2023! Each artwork contained a horizon line that we matched up in the gallery to create a shared universe.

We have some exciting exhibits coming up later this year that we can't wait to share!

As always, thanks for everyone who has shown us love and supported local art over the years! We love you too!

I'm happy to be teaching my fourth year summer camp at the Appleton Museum of Art! Sign your teens up for this fun and informative outdoor painting class at the CF Vintage Farm in a couple weeks!

This summer, our “Outdoor Painting” camp for teens trades the classroom for the open fields and gardens of CF’s Vintage Farm. With portable easels and paints in hand, students will explore 🌟en plein air🌟 painting guided by artist Jordan Shapot [ Shapot Art Gallery ].
