Many of the MCA (Marion Cultural Alliance) Board of Directors' meetings that I have to attend are the last Wednesday of the month this year, so we'll be moving open critique to the first Wednesday of every month for now.

Join us THIS SATURDAY for our closing reception to the amazing show "Nothing to See Here" by DJ Reynolds AKA

The Artist, DJ Reynolds, will be giving an artist talk to provide viewers with insight and backstory to his artwork and thought process.

Following the artist talk, popular local band Baseline. will be gracing us with a very special acoustic set! After that, we'll close out the night with local favorite musical duo Glizzy Gillespie who will be playing both their new and old tunes! Support local music!

Great! All submissions must adhere to the following rules:

- Artwork(s) must include a horizon line
- Artwork(s) may picture any subject matter of the artist's -choosing as long as there's a horizon line
- Artwork(s) cannot exceed 4 ft in height
- You must email high quality photographs of your art to [email protected] by July 2nd (Sunday): 11:59 PM EST
- Accepted artwork being mailed needs to be able to be easily repackaged
- The artist is responsible for return shipping if their artwork(s) don't sell during the exhibit
- All submitting artists will be notified of acceptance by July 5th (Wednesday)
- Accepted artists will need to deliver their artwork to Shapot Art Gallery by July 16th-17th (Sunday-Monday): 10 AM - 7 PM
