Talk About It Tuesday

Since the late 1990s Lynn has shown nearly 25 quarter horses in Dressage and Western Dressage, well before there were breed associations points, year end awards and world shows for them. Pictured here is 1991 AQHA Superhorse The Lark Ascending. After his AQHA career he went in to compete in USEF Hunters and beginning USDF levels. This is the horse who got Lynn back in the Dressage ring after decades away. Look for the other Quarter Horses featured over the coming weeks.

Sand N My Bootz Saturday

This summer Bootz has been mastering the components of the Level 2 tests. While there are some pieces to smooth out, overall he has been quite successful with consistently commendable scores in the 70s. When Lynn and Cyril feel he is confident enough to sprinkle in a Level 3 test here and there, they will. Stay tuned for that. Meanwhile enjoy the lightness, responsiveness and harmony of these simple changes of lead, sidepass and straight, square halt.
