Fortress Obetz Fortress Obetz is owned and maintained by the City of Obetz.

Fortress Obetz is a 6,500 seat stadium on the site of the former Columbus Motor Speedway in Obetz, Ohio. In 2016, Obetz purchased the Columbus Motor Speedway and began construction on Fortress Obetz shortly after. Obetz has developed it into a community asset to host farmers’ markets, trade shows, sporting events, concerts, and other community activities.

We’re excited to announce the winners of Best of Full Throttle!

🥈 Runner-up Hott Lucy will kick things off on the Full Throttle Stage this Thursday, August 27, at 5:30 PM, playing until 7 PM!

During the stage changeover, we’ll be giving away some goodies — including our big Vance Outdoors raffle prizes: a kayak and a gun range membership! 🎟️

🥇 Then, our overall winner, New Boot Goofin', will take the stage and keep the party going until 9:30 PM!

If you’re heading out tonight for Full Throttle Thursday or youth sports, please be aware that water is still draining near the corner of Orchard Lane and Recreation Trail. The intersection is open and safe to drive through, but some standing water and gravel remain.

Drivers of classic cars and motorcycles should use extra caution in the area. Please see the map for alternate routes into Fortress Obetz, and travel carefully on neighborhood streets.
