We couldn't have raised an incredible $130,000 at this year's Ohio Eggfest without the incredible businesses that supported us!

A huge thank you to The Refectory Restaurant for supporting the 2026 Ohio Eggfest and helping us raise money for The Buckeye Cruise for Cancer and cancer research at The James.

And congratulations to The Refectory on an incredible 50 years! We're grateful to have such a longtime Columbus institution supporting our event and our mission.

After an incredible year of fundraising, we’re excited to get back to work and see what this amazing community can do together in 2027! Saturday is Ohio State’s “Buckeyes for a Cancer Free World” game, so we couldn’t think of a better way to kick off our 2027 fundraising season than with a ticket giveaway for this game!

This is a quick raffle we put together and it ends tomorrow at noon. Only 12 people have entered so far so the chances of winning are high and the chances of supporting cancer research is 100%!!

$130,000. 💚

We are incredibly proud to announce that together, we raised $130,000 for cancer research, prevention and treatment through the 2026 Ohio Eggfest!

Every year, we wonder how we could possibly top the year before, and every year you continue to amaze us. Last year we raised $106,000. This year you helped us blow past our goal and reach an incredible $130,000!

When we started The Ohio Eggfest, we had no idea how big this event would become or the impact it could make. What started as a bunch of people getting together around Big Green Eggs, cooking great food and having a good time has grown into something much bigger.

It’s pretty amazing to think that a day of eating delicious BBQ can make a meaningful difference in the fight against cancer. But none of this happens because of one person or one organization. It happens because of all of YOU.

To our incredible volunteer cook teams who put so much time, money and hard work into the food they serve. To our sponsors who continue to believe in this event and cause. To all of the companies and people who donated items to our raffles and auctions. To our vendors, North to Nashville, Dave Powers, AJ Angelo, Performance Dogs of Ohio LLC, Captain Ron & Cmac who helped make the day so much fun. Thank you. We couldn't do this without all of you.

Thank you to Fortress Obetz and the City of Obetz for giving us such an incredible place to call home. A special thank you to Star-Fire Distributors for their continued support of The Ohio Eggfest. And of course, to every person who bought a ticket, donated, purchased a demo egg, entered a raffle, voted for their favorite team or simply told a friend about The Ohio Eggfest, you are part of this $130,000.

Thank you to Buckeye Cruise for Cancer for being an incredible partner and for the work you do all year round. Every dollar we raise ultimately supports The James and its work in cancer research, prevention and treatment as we all work toward the same goal of a cancer free world.
