🎓CONGRATS GTA GRADS!
Melissa Tyler has earned her BFA Design & Technology for Theatre (Scenic Design & Technical Direction) from the University of North Georgia!

Melissa's favorite GTA moment:
"One of my most favorite memories from my time at UNG was the video all of the techies made at the end of the Sister Act production. We all joined in a line marching across the stage sing the show tune Spread The Love Around. This was so special because as techies we often don't get to be in the spotlight so getting to have fun and make the video after the show was so entertaining and memorable. "

What GTA means to Melissa:
"GTA has shown me that we are able to be who we are and to not apologize for it. That in a world where you can be anyone you should be yourself. Which sometimes is the hardest person to be. To strive for what you want. You may not have the skills at the start but to never let that hamper the decision to go for it. If you don't try then you never will but if you keep going step by step one day you will turn around and find you have surpassed what you thought you were reaching for. "

What's next for Melissa:
"After graduation I am moving to Flat Rock North Carolina as a production assistant for six months at Flat Rock Playhouse. While there I will be working in the scene shop as a carpenter and during performance runs I will be working back stage. After that I will have the month of December free before I move to Tampa Florida for another six months. In Tampa I will be working at Bush Gardens as a senior Technician. Upon completion I will be open to any opportunities that may arise. "

Congratulations Melissa!

🎓CONGRATS GTA GRADS!
Mady Moreno has earned her BFA Theatre Arts (Performance) from the University of North Georgia!

Mady's favorite GTA moment:
"My favorite moment at GTA isn’t one thing in particular, but I absolutely love every rehearsal period I’ve been in. The creative process of putting together a show, especially under the great leadership we have at GTA, makes each one feel special and meaningful."

What GTA means to Mady:
"I am an artist who knows that a good attitude and a willingness to try will take you farther than you can imagine. GTA means that you don’t have to define yourself to one thing definitively, that to define is to limit. Being multifaceted with a willingness to collaborate is key."

What's next for Mady:
"For the next year, I will be working as a performance apprentice for the Aurora Theatre’s AppCo '27 Company! I look forward to this next year of growth and opportunity"

Congratulations Mady!

🎓CONGRATS GTA GRADS!
Aiden AnzaldĂşa has earned his BFA Acting for Stage & Screen from Brenau University!

Aiden's favorite GTA moment:
"I always think about how my best friends and I got to write and produce our anthology play series, Stupid Works, for two years at this school. We really wanted to push for more student works so we put on this small show in the Wonderbox, however we ended up selling out and needing to gather every accessible chair in the building to fit everyone. Thankfully, we were granted access to the Hosch Theatre for our second year! Forever grateful for this experience. "

What GTA means to Aiden:
"GTA has introduced me to some of the most influential artists I’ve seen, both in faculty and students. This program is fueled by the people in it and their passion for this art form. This community has deepened my appreciation for the career journey I am about to embark on and I will forever be grateful for everyone I ever worked with."

What's next for Aiden:
"Besides being a struggling actor, I am writing my very first feature film! I have decided to use this summer to finally complete my passion project that I have been working on for years. In addition to this I plan to continue to act professionally on stage and film in Atlanta."

Congratulations Aiden!
