Script Analysis: Table Work featuring The Seagull

We will be exploring this seminal piece of drama using Earle Gister's (former head of Yale Drama) 5 questions: breaking down the characters, the scenes and the whole play, into logical/ playable beats. Through this process we will learn about effective table work and identify what homework can/ should be done to fully embody a character. This class is for all levels of actor. Melissa Haines: I got a kick ass MFA from one of the best Acting Schools in the nation, FOR FREE. I strongly oppose charging an arm and a leg for acting classes. I love working with actors. I’m passionate about my craft. No, it’s not free, but it’s damn near close. So, let me pay it forward. Come and take a class with me. You’ll learn something new and you’ll have a lot of fun. I promise.
