The Studio in the Loft

The Studio in the Loft Class offerings include Ballet Technique, Pointe, Modern, Tap and Israeli.

Our dance education is designed to provide a safe environment to develop the creative skills of the students. There is a high value placed on the structure of Ballet and the exploratory nature of Modern Dance. Cultural and ethnic forms are blended to enhance the dance as a means of communication. The hope is to increase both a love and an appreciation of the arts and their interaction.

I miss all my peeps in North & South Carolina. I'm working full time at Bentley School. K-8 private independent. When I return from break I will be teaching 4th & 5th grade dance. I teach tiny people on Saturdays. I'm in my own apartment. It's like coming home to a vacation.
My youngest son Noah is in Olympia WA close to my brother. Jesse is working hard with his business(Forager). Ethan is always in training. Google Ethan Boyes for his latest races.
I'm finally finding some social outlets. Israeli & International dance groups and choir.
California was a big transition but I'm getting comfortable.

Yes!!!! I'm teaching once again! Mornings in San Jose CA with Alpha High School and afternoons at The Bentley School in Oakland. On Saturday I teach little ones at Dance Academy USA in Cupertino, then on occasion, private lessons in San Francisco.
I'll be moving to an apartment next to Lake Merrit in Oakland at the end of September. It's great to be teaching again.

6:00 to 6:30 Everyone moving a set piece or prop (tech run)

6:30 to 9:15 all dancers and actors full run

Friday thru the stage door

Opera House

9am to 10 am all advanced & Intermediate dancers running solo's in order on stage

10am to 1 pm all actors and dancers full dress run.

ignore the light changes as our light designer will be setting levels for you during rehearsal.

Tuesday Westminster. Thursdays rehearsal has been moved to Friday above Angels at 1 to 3 for full run and 3 to 4 for sectionals (segments needing work) Tiny princesses only from 1 to 3 please.

Our Tuesday space is at Westminster Pres on the corner of Covington and Alice. Intermediate starts at 5:15 and advanced starts at 7:15 to 9:30. Our Thursday space is the loft above Angels on Main. 8-9 yr. old class is at 5:30 to 7:00 for Tap & Ballet. Intermediate from 7:00 to 8:00 and advanced from 8:00 to 9:00 Company 9:00 to 9:30
