Let's sing together! Starting this Tuesday May 12th I host a 6-week song-magic class online, 7-8pm PST.

We'll focus on building breath support and control, increasing range, relaxation, placement of tone for the best resonance, and vocal color, explored through the lens of singing as a magical practice.

You guys! I am absolutely bursting with inspiration the last few days. After two relentlessly challenging years, it feels like life is opening again, and I can see a way forward. And it involves lots of music and adventure. I hope to be seeing many of you again in the future, as we interweave our magics along this precarious path that the world is currently on. Let us bind our yearnings for the world together through music and magic and song!

Heya!

Winter and I released a new song on Bandcamp today, called White Rose. Yes, in honor of the White Rose Society.

It was originally a patron's only song, but feels appropriate to share with the wider world now. It sure was therapeutic to create this. Hopefully it will also be therapeutic for you to listen.

I have recently returned from the most rejuvenating place I know in my state. This is Mendocino county, and it is definitely where all the siren songs come from!

Full moon over the ocean is one of the most portal-opening times for me. So I wanted to share a bit of this magic with you all. Happy Hallows, Beloveds!

For all my fierce sisters, and those that love them. I see you.

I beg to differ.

I’m feminine like a thunderstorm.

Feminine like the glint of a falcon talon.

Feminine like an ancient redwood.

Feminine like the orange glow of a grizzly bear in the sunset.

Feminine like a wolf on the hunt.

Feminine like decaying bones.

Feminine like the eye of an old whale.

Feminine like a roaring river.

Feminine like a sheer cliff overlooking a forest.

Feminine like a wildfire.

Feminine like a desert wind.

Feminine like a battle cry.

And yes.

Within my stones and bark and fur and fierce slit irises... I am as soft and enveloping as any woman who’s blood ever beat red.

This is the Sovereigness.

I am her.
We are her.

We are an age of woman who has come in, representing the medicine of the Wilds.

We are not built to actualize your sense of masculinity through your traditional idea of femininity.

We are built to bring in the voice of our Mother.

Which is why Earth herself screams in our veins.

So, if what you really mean is,
“Your femininity is overwhelming”,

Then I understand.

It is to me, too.

PSA: My year-long shadow-work class, Pentacles, Power, and Purpose, is open for registration. This class creates a container for deep introspection regarding who we are, who we want to be, what we hide from, and how we might step beyond our fears and into a deeper experience of our own power and purpose. We will explore these themes through the lens of the Tarot and the Feri Pentacles (Iron, Pearl, and Lead). Also, we'll have art projects! Because the creative process is some of the best magic! We'll meet twice a month for 12 months starting Saturday Nov. 16th.

I find this work incredibly helpful in keeping our minds nimble and our intuitions honed as we navigate uncertain times. Since we are deep in uncertain times, it seems a good time for a round of shadow work. Knowing where our center is even as the world churns gives us solid ground to stand upon. I know this work helps me and so I want to share it with you.
