Our CDPA Performing Ensemble is looking forward to class with

AMBAR CESARI

Ambar Cesari is a choreographer, lighting designer, creative director, and business owner based in Central Florida. A recent graduate of The University of Tampa, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a minor in Business Administration.
Trained in contemporary, ballet, modern, hip hop, and jazz, Ambar has performed extensively in university productions while also choreographing original works. Her piece Rhythms of Togetherness was selected for presentation at the American College Dance Association (ACDA), highlighting her commitment to creating meaningful, collaborative performance experiences.

Beyond performance and choreography, Ambar is passionate about technical theater. Since 2023, she has worked as a stage manager, lighting designer, and audio operator for a variety of campus productions, developing a versatile skill set that bridges artistic vision with production excellence.

Dedicated to using the arts as a force for positive change, Ambar co-founded Groove Impact LLC, a fundraising organization that partners with Arnold Palmer Children's Miracle Network to support hospitalized children. In 2026, Groove Impact celebrated its first anniversary, marking a significant milestone in its mission to give back to the community.

Ambar's leadership, creativity, and dedication have been recognized with several honors, including Outstanding Freshman (2022–2023), Technical Theater Student of the Year (2023–2024), and Outstanding Dance Student (2024–2025).

BJ GRANVILLE

BJ GRANVILLE is a Black American Performer, Director/Choreographer & Producer born in Georgia and raised in Florida. As a performer, he is known for his strong dance technique, soulful vocals, advanced rap skills and focus driven acting. Behind the table, he has been known for having a strong desire for excellence and the ability to properly articulate his vision for an artistic work through dance/movement and precise storytelling. He is a rising Senior Musical Theater Major at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee College of Music and has done quite a bit of work outside of school as well. Performance credits include: Tyrone in Finnegan’s Farewell (Universal Preservation Hall), Scarecrow in The Wiz and Grand Master Chad in Legally Blonde (Boston Conservatory at Berklee), and Featured Dancer/Swing/Benny Cover in RENT and Twig in Bring it On (The Dr. Phillips Center). Director/Choreographer/Producer credits include: Direction/Choreography Apprentice (Broadway Dreams Foundation), Choreographer for All Shook Up & Sweeney Todd (Center Stage Youth Company), Director/Associate Producer for Soul Jam (Berklee College of Music).
