In 2008, doctors diagnosed me with severe endometriosis and infertility.
That same year, the matriarchs of my family passed away, and my mom moved to the other end of the state.
I felt lost, abandoned, without a home — not a house, but without a home.
Dance held me through it all.
In 2009, Invisible Womb was birthed.
The diagnosis and the suffering I would experience as a result gave me deep empathy for women in every season of reproductive life.
As a licensed marriage, family and somatic trauma therapist, I have accompanied women moving through grief, trauma, broken lives, and broken hearts.
Admittedly, my own heart was broken too — carrying grief and trauma to survive and find life.
Through Invisible Womb: Rebirth, I continue to heal, and I invite you into this dance experience to find something for yourself along with me.
