Laprada Lights is back in full swing this year and again a recipient of the Orlando Sentinel Twinkly Award! Thank you to the Orlando Sentinel and Patrick for considering us.

Our show is OPEN until January 3rd, 2026 from 6pm to 10:30pm! Our request site is back and better then ever and we brought back some previous songs to the request site, mainly for the kids. Adults, I'm sorry but kids love It's Raining Tacos and theres nothing I can do.

Hey everyone! What a month it’s been. Getting the Christmas lights up this year turned into a full-on holiday marathon — definitely took longer than planned.

But good news: the display is about 90% done (huge shoutout to my amazing neighbors for the help)! I’m out of town this week, but the light show officially kicks on tonight at 6 PM!

A few decorations still need to make their grand debut, and I added six brand new songs to the playlist this year. The “pick your own song” feature isn’t live yet — let’s call that a *next week* project. Don’t worry, the radio and push button still work their magic.

If something’s acting up, ping me! I might be able to work some remote tech wizardry… maybe.

Happy New Year light fans! We'll be keeping the show going and our last show day is January 5th. Since tonight is New Year's Eve, we also have a few party song to get you into the new year.

New this year is Dua Lipa's Dance the Night and will be playing all night!

Merry Christmas from Laprada Lights! Tonight our show will run from 6pm to 10:30pm but if we were as busy as we were last night, we might extend the show until 11pm again.

I also just checked the weather report it ant looks like a chance of SNOW is in store for Laprada Lights tonight? We'll have to see...

Merry Christmas light fans! Since tonight is Christmas Eve, we’ve had a great turnout for the show this evening! Due to the popularity, we’ve extended the show an additional 30 minutes until 11pm tonight!

Santa has been spotted in the vicinity so we need to make sure we’re in bed before midnight.

But has anyone seen the weather forecast for tomorrow, Christmas Day? It looks like a possibility….of snow?

We are now open and operational for the 2024 season!

This year has 13 new songs on rotation including tributes to Taylor Swift's Eras tour, Wicked's Defying Gravity and holiday favorite film Home Alone! Plus popular requested songs from previous years can be requested using your phone!

Show runs 6pm - 10:30pm every night until January 5th! Free to all at 2121 White Feather Loop, Oakland, FL!

Surprise! Catch a final encore performance of Laprada Lights for one final time tonight, Saturday January 13 from 6pm to 10:30pm! The show will be dismantled this week. I know Christmas is in the rearview mirror, but the weather is perfect to take in some Christmas lights. Our show was a little beat up from the winds and rain the last week, but I made some repairs and it's back at full strength!

While you're out looking at lights, our good friend The HoLedet Show is also playing one last time tonight. They're about 15 minutes away in Minneola and have an amazing fountain display with their lights!

All good things much come to an end. 😔 Tonight is the last showing of Laprada Lights for the season. Thank you to everyone that came out and all the people I met throughout the season. I loved seeing kids dancing in the yard or taking pictures with the angel wings.

In the next few days I'll make an interesting post about the most requested songs of the year. Man, you guys really like It's Raining Tacos!

Our lights have been very busy the last few nights and for that reason we've extended our hours tonight until 11pm! Merry Christmas everyone!

Show is back tonight starting at 6pm!

We checked all equipment from the storm and we have to make some repairs to a controller that sustained water damage. For that reason some elements might not be working at the start of the evening. Just put it in rice and it’ll be all good!
