Shipwreck Tiki Lounge In the palms at the end of the runway behind the ack ack gun is a sandbagged hideaway run by misfits stocked with shanghaied liquor and torpedo juice.

Shipwreck Tiki Lounge has been a staple at Burning Man since 2007, and was placed on the Esplanade for 3 years. After years on the 730 Portal our 2019 address was 630 and B. Shipwreck is famous for bringing to the playa an old school Tiki experience straight out of the South Pacific during WW2. The spectacular Shipwreck Tiki Lounge, is built inside an air conditioned semi trailer and rivals any t

iki lounge anywhere in the default world. Our beloved art car , the Tiki Tiki has been on playa 11 times so far. And in 2018 we rolled out the large 40 person capacity art car , Tiki Tom’s Safari Tours. Soon to debut in 2021 will be a smaller trailered version of the lounge designed for smaller events and regionals. Shipwreck Tiki Lounge has thrice been awarded the prestigious “Top-275" Theme Camp Award.

Pictorial tour of the old “Shipwreck Tiki Lounge”. She made it to playa 7 times. The last being 2019. Unlikely she’ll ever return to playa as shipping costs and well, costs in general have skyrocketed. As those of you who were fortunate enough to experience her magic all know.
