About Rock the Vote :

“In 2020, Millennials and Generation Z will comprise nearly 40% of American voters. Young voters are new voters and as new voters they face unique obstacles to voting that result in turnout that is historically 20 to 30 points below older voters. This discrepancy is even greater in midterms, state and local elections. As a result, our democracy continuously fails to represent youth, generation after generation.
As young voters overcome these challenges to break turnout records as they did in 2018, they’ve become the target of voter suppression efforts. From the rise of voter ID laws to intensified efforts to remove polling sites from college campuses, young people must navigate obstacles designed to keep them from making their voices heard.

BAAM aims to provide a space to bring local artists and musicians together across many platforms for collaboration, creative practice development, and live interaction.

BAAM serves the local Arts and Music scene by allowing the space to practice their craft, develop their skills and resume, and to gain network and support. We like to think about this event as a counter-revolution to the quickly changing culture that surrounds the Bay Area- which lacks visibility of and the support for Music and the Arts.

We are excited to add a radio show to our stream of local music and art!

Tune In every Sunday 6-8 PM PT.

BAAM, a Monthly Event, Provides Space for Artists and Musicians.

BAAM aims to provide a space to bring local artists and musicians together across many platforms for collaboration, creative practice development, and live interaction.

Local musicians are booked back-to-back alongside seven to fifteen local artists. The artists are strategically booked to show work, to create live art, or to provide workshops for the community.
