Good morning MHS Drama supporters!

The boosters meeting scheduled for tonight will need to be changed due to a conflict here. I will send out an updated date and time in the next couple of days. Sorry for the inconvenience

Good morning!

I would like to invite any of you interested in being a part of the new MHS Drama Boosters to our inaugural meeting.

Our first meeting will be next Tuesday, May 26th, here at Messo at 6:30 p.m.

This will be an informal group, with the hopes of generating funds for the drama club. I will talk about my vision of the upcoming 26-27 school year and what the club's needs are.

If you have boosters experience, great! If not, no problem.

I hope to see you all there!

Calling all volunteers!

Stage Moms and Dads and supporters of Drama in the Messo-Sphere, I am (re)starting the MHS Drama Boosters and need your help!

This coming year (2026-2027) I will be bringing the Musical back to MHS. And then, of course, there is the One Act Festival, where we hope to defend our title as regional champs.

Securing the rights to perform, building sets, procuring costumes will all need the fundraising support of a robust and active boosters program.

If you or anyone you know might be interested in joining the MHS Drama Boosters, please let me know.

Thank you!

~Andrew

Phew!

What a whirlwind!

The Players survived a month of intense rehearsals, various illnesses, grades closing, parent-teacher conferences, and spring snowstorms.

They trekked to Brewer and showed the One Act Festival community that they indeed belong in the conversation. They made their way to Windham and put on their absolute best performance in front of a host of schools they'd never met before.

And through it all, even if the results at States were not what was desired, they had a fantastic time, got to see some exceptional performances, and made loads of new friends.

I'd say March has been great to them, and I am extremely proud.

I would like to extend a special thank you to friends and parents who came to the shows, who donated snacks, who drove their students around and, well, basically made them feel that what they do here is important and worthwhile. It does not go unnoticed.

Stay tuned for our upcoming spring show (yep - they're not done yet!).

Best regards,

~Andrew Turner

Good afternoon, all!

As you know, the MHS Players earned their spot at the State One Act Festival this coming weekend.

I'm asking that if anyone is willing and able to donate snacks for the students, it would be greatly appreciated.

Snacks and drinks of any kind will be accepted. We do have two students with dietary aversions to dairy and gluten, but no known peanut allergies.

Any donations can be dropped at the school under my name (Or sent along with your drama student).

Kind regards,

~Andrew Turner
