The Hidden Gem is a creative studio and shared workspace for innovative artists and entrepreneurs in the Bay Area. Located on the border of Berkeley, Oakland and Emeryville, The Hidden Gem is just a few blocks away from Pixar. Operating as a film/photography studio, editing lab, classroom, and small private event space, The Hidden Gem is dedicated to advancing innovative artists and entrepreneurs.
The primary goal of the organization is to support the creation of groundbreaking art and technology not recognized in mainstream industries. We are a tight-knit group of artists and entrepreneurs who have created a structured content program that hosts regular community meetings to support each other in the various productions and programs we are individually developing. We also host regular events and programs to network and develop new media. Rent for work space varies on a sliding scale depending on private loft or ground floor work space, but more importantly, we are looking for the right creative people to join our community.
