A celebration of art, heritage, music and color. ❤️💛💚
As we continue Improvisation in Color: Wosene Worke Kosrof Celebrates Coltrane at 100, we celebrate the extraordinary vision of Ethiopian-born artist Wosene Worke Kosrof and the rich cultural influences that have shaped his remarkable career.
Wosene transforms the forms and rhythms of Amharic script into his own visual language—much like jazz, his paintings move, improvise and tell a story.
The exhibition continues through October 25 at Thelma Harris Art Gallery.
Several works have already found homes, but there are still beautiful pieces available.
Come take another look… you never know which one might make your heart go pity-pat. ❤️
