WanderLoess - Loess Hills Missouri River Region Harrison, Pottawattamie and Mills counties are partnering together to develop a regional vision and plan to address parks, trails, & cultural assets.

Harrison, Pottawattamie and Mills Counties in Iowa have secured a small-but-important planning grant from the Iowa Parks Foundation to address the future of the tri-county region’s parks, trails, cultural assets and overall economic and community vitality. This effort seeks to engage citizens, stakeholders and community leaders to identify and implement collaborative projects to enhance:

• Econom

ic development and tourism,
• Public health and social vitality,
• Natural resources (habitat, water) health, parks, and trails, and
• Overall regional vibrancy
