For these new sculptures I used various found, recycled and construction materials. These reused materials carry traces of use, time, and adaptation, echoing the ways natural systems persist and evolve within urban environments.

My work explores nature and the city as interdependent systems, constantly shaping and adapting to one another.

This new work is deeply personal and my intention is to encourage reflection and a new sense of “adapting” to places we call HOME

09/12/2026

As my practice continues to evolve, one idea keeps emerging: the desire to connect people and places by representing familiar spaces, their surroundings, and the human relationships that exist within them.

I created a new body of work that is centered on experimentation using various found and recycled materials. These reused materials carry traces of use, time, and adaptation, echoing the ways natural systems persist and evolve within urban environments.

Thank you so much for coming to “HOME IS A VERB” Opening this weekend at Minnow Arts in Santa Cruz

I’m beyond happy to present my work with a new community and honestly overwhelmed to see how people connected with this new body of work. Thank you to Christie and Trevor from Minnow for the opportunity to exhibit here and thank you to all the people, including dear friends that showed up and supported me this weekend.

This exhibition presents the ideas of place, belonging, and the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit. My hope is that viewers become part of this exchange, encountering the works as evolving forms that encourage reflection, conversation, and a renewed sense of connection to the places they call their own.

HOME IS A VERB will be on view until September 30th and the Gallery is open on weekends from 2-6pm or by appointment.

If you’re in the area, don’t miss it 🙏🏼🎨
