This warehouse sits at 24th & Union in West Oakland. I pass by it on my way home from my running route, and every time I see it, I can’t help but imagine what it could become.

I’ve been working on a lot of mural proposals lately, so this one is just for fun.

Manifesting more opportunities to paint my own ideas and keep transforming the community I call home 🙏🏼

I walk past this building almost every day. Unfortunately, it’s often surrounded by trash when it could be a beautiful space for everyone to enjoy.

The building faces Mandela Parkway and belongs to a shipping company. A mural on their exterior wall is probably not high on their list of priorities... but who knows? Sometimes the best projects start as a daydream.

Increíblemente orgullosa de presentar mi obra en el Consulado General de México en Sacramento . “Entre Horizontes” se Inauguró el día de ayer 7 de Mayo y estará disponible para visitar hasta el 30 de Agosto.

Agradezco al Consulado de Sacramento por el espacio que me brindan para mostrar mi obra en tan importante Ciudad y conectar con distintos miembros de nuestra comunidad. Gracias al equipo de Asuntos Culturales por su apoyo durante el montaje y el evento; así como al resto del equipo por gestionar esta exhibición.

Gracias al cónsul General Christian Tonatiuh González por su amable recibimiento y por las bellas palabras que pronunció ayer durante la Inauguración de mi exposición.

Moments from the Project that we just completed at Middlefield Junction Apartments by in Redwood City, CA.

This is the second building that we paint at this location, creating a series of murals for each floor of this Affordable housing site. Each floor celebrates a different local landscape and its community.

Grateful to contribute with my art to this project.

Thanks to Ostrow Design and Mercy Housing for making this project a reality.
