Keyboardist Phil Bennett is a San Francisco Bay Area musician and performer, who is known for his energetic and creative performances. His musical experience, extensive MIDI, sampling, and synthesis skills make him shine as a musician, producer, and composer.
He's been the keyboardist and backing vocalist for Starship (formally Jefferson Starship) since 1995. The band, featuring the incomparable singer Mickey Thomas, performs over 100 shows a year, nationally and internationally. Aside from Starship, Phil also performs as keyboardist and vocalist with the concert series Super Singers of Rock and Voices of Classic Rock.
Phil shared the stage and has performed with many artists, including Bobby Kimball and Steve Lukather, (Toto), Yngwie Malmsteen, Alex Skolnick (Testament), Brad Gillis and Jack Blades (Night Ranger), Fee Waybill (The Tubes) Chuck Negro (Three Dog Night), Dave Jenkins (Pablo Cruise) Eddie Money, Michael Manring, Leslie West (Mountain) Ben Orr (The Cars) - to name just a few.

It features Medella Kingston’s vocals, Eric Slick on drums (Adrian Belew, Ween, Dr. Dog, Taylor Swift), Stephen Paul Goodwin on low end harmonic propulsion (Vicious Rumors, horror metal band From Hell and Journey Unauthorized), Phil Bennett of Starship (formally Jefferson Starship) on synthesizer and theremin; Tal Ariel (hundreds of tracks as a pianist, composter, arranger and engineer) plays electric piano and other analog excellence.
