Our Founder and CEO, Lee Richter , recently sat down with Cruz Gamboa on The Blindspot Podcast... and this conversation goes all the way back to her Girl Scout cookie days. 💜🎉✨

Lee shares some of the experiences that shaped her through more than 20 years of entrepreneurship, including the mentors who helped her along the way, the lessons that came from growing businesses, and the blind spots she learned to recognize when she was too close to the work to see them herself.

They talked about the numbers too... KPIs, financial planning, and what it took to help grow a veterinary practice from 2,500 to 25,000 clients.

But as Lee says in her own post about the episode, business and life are hard to separate.

So the conversation also gets into family, resilience, gratitude, meaningful relationships, and how our idea of success can change as we grow.

There’s so much packed into this one, and we loved hearing Lee share some of the experiences that have shaped the way she leads today.

Progress can take us extraordinary places.

But leadership asks us to consider more than how far we can go.
It asks us to think about where we are going and why.

In The Life After Ours, Elias, Lyra, and Kai encounter a completely different vision of humanity’s future. One shaped by different choices, priorities, and ideas about what progress should mean.

It raises a question that matters far beyond this story: How do we make sure innovation moves humanity forward without losing the things that make progress meaningful in the first place?

Connection. Purpose. Community. Our relationship with one another and the world around us. 🌎💛

Leadership was never meant to be a journey we take alone.

There will always be unfamiliar paths, difficult climbs, and moments when we don’t know exactly what comes next.

What changes the journey is who we choose to walk it with.

In The Life After Ours, Elias, Lyra, and Kai begin with different perspectives and different strengths. Along the way, they discover something every leader eventually learns: We go further when we learn to trust, listen, and move forward together.

The future will ask things of us that no one person can solve alone. 🌎💛

The future isn’t something that simply happens to us.
It is shaped by the decisions we make today.

How we lead.
How we use technology.
What we choose to protect.
And what we make possible for the people who come after us.

The Life After Ours invites us to imagine where those choices could lead and reminds us that progress is ultimately about people.

The future is still being shaped. 🌎💛

Hope for the future isn’t passive.

It is built through the choices we make, the people we empower, and the possibilities we are willing to create together.

That is one of the ideas at the heart of THE LIFE AFTER OURS.

The story imagines a future where humanity chose a different path. Technology became a partner in restoring the planet, strengthening communities, and giving people more space for what makes us human.

It is a reminder that the future is not something already decided for us.

The future isn’t finished. 🌱

As leaders, we each have an opportunity to help shape what comes next.

So we want to ask our community:

What gives you hope about THE LIFE AFTER OURS? 💛

Tell us below.

Every decision we make about progress today becomes part of the world someone else inherits tomorrow.

How we build. How we lead. How we use technology. How we care for people and the planet along the way.

THE LIFE AFTER OURS imagines what could happen when those choices are made with intention.

New ways to live. New ways to move. New ways for people and technology to work alongside one another, with progress measured not simply by how advanced the world becomes, but by how well it serves the people living in it.

As leaders, we have an opportunity to think beyond what is possible today and consider what our choices make possible for those who follow.

If you could help shape the world future generations inherit, what would you want it to look like? 🌎💛

The future is often framed as something we need to prepare for.

But leadership asks us to go one step further.

What kind of future are we willing to help build? 🌱

THE LIFE AFTER OURS offers a glimpse of what could be possible when people, technology, and purpose move forward together.

A healthier planet. Stronger human connection. Innovation used as a force for good. A future shaped not simply by what technology can do, but by the choices people make with it.

Because the future is not only something we inherit.

It is something we help create.

And that gives us reason for hope. 💛

The future is shaped long before we arrive there.

It is shaped by the decisions we make today, what we choose to protect, what we build, and what we pass forward.

50 years from now, a new generation will inherit the results of those choices.

Will they inherit a healthier planet?
Stronger communities?
Technology designed to serve humanity?
A culture where wisdom, connection, and purpose still matter?

The Life After Ours invites us to imagine that future and recognize the role each of us has in creating it.

As leaders, legacy is not only about what we accomplish in our lifetime. It is also about what becomes possible because of the choices we made.

What do you hope children 50 years from now inherit from us? 🌎💛

Today, we’re sharing something a little different, but the conversation behind it is deeply connected to what we believe at Global Leaders Collective.

Our Founder and CEO, Lee Richter , is the Executive Producer and Director of The Life After Ours, created alongside an amazing team with a shared vision for a more hopeful future.

It is a story about AI, humanity, and the choices that shape what future generations will inherit.

In this first glimpse, Elias doesn’t know who he is meant to become. His grandfather reminds him that destiny is discovered through the choices we make.
There is something powerful in that idea for all of us as leaders.

We may not know exactly what the future will look like, but the choices we make today are already shaping it.

The people we empower.

The wisdom we share.

The technology we choose to build and embrace.

The communities we strengthen.

All of it becomes part of what we leave behind.

So as we begin sharing this story, we want to invite our community into the conversation.

For the life after ours, we want to leave ______.
What do you want your leadership to leave for the generations that follow?

Trust can be built over years… and lost in minutes.

In this conversation with our CEO, Lee Richter, and Maraya Brown, they reflect on why trust is such a defining issue right now, in leadership, in business, and in everyday relationships.

One story in particular reminds us how deeply human trust really is, and how profoundly it shapes how safe we feel to connect.

Building relationships today asks us to be more intentional, more present, and more committed to meaning over convenience.

Because strong relationships don’t just help us succeed…
They help us endure.
